2022 AASECT Sexuality Educator of the Year
Individual and group supervision is a requirement of certification by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists, and it has benefits to established professionals as well.
I offer group and individual supervision toward Certified Sexuality Educator status as well as supervision to therapists, counselors, and educators who aren’t on the CSE path but who seek to hone their knowledge and skills in educational interventions. This can include CST and CSE candidates using some elective supervision hours for education.
Individual sessions are scheduled at mutually convenient times, while groups are usually held on Tuesday and Sunday evenings.
My supervision is anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and pragmatic. I will challenge you to think creatively, to find practical solutions, and to risk being uncomfortable for the sake of professional — and sometimes personal — growth. Along the way, you’ll build a library of resources while gaining skills in networking, marketing and promotion, thanks to my former careers in marketing communications and journalism.

“I’d been struggling for quite a while with finishing the ISEE program and figuring out how to get started as a sex educator. Your suggestion to get started on Instagram was just what I needed to hear. I came up with a plan to start a business account on Instagram, then a website, and then move on to course creation. I look forward to filling you in on my progress.” ~ Ann Wallace
